Numero Uno

Here I am.  In the world of blogging.

I have toyed around with the idea of having a blog for a while, I just always felt too busy to really keep up with it, and really too busy to be creating as much as I want to :( Mega sad-face.

But lately I have been inspired!  I am not at the point in my life where I have cute babies to make things for, however, I can live vicariously through others!

So I'm sitting there with the great news that a friend's baby girl will come into this world in a few months, and tons of ideas start popping into my head of what I can make her.  I automatically though about crocheting a blanket, but upon arriving at Craft Warehouse and seeing their amazing collection of cute fabric, I realized the blanket MUST be a quilt.  Have I ever truly made a quilt?  No.  Then I was thinking that she needs an adorable hat and booties, which I will crochet.  But I just got a new set of knitting needles!  So  knitted hat it is.

The point being.  I always make things and I don't record how I make them!  And then when I want to make them again, I have to stare long and hard at what I did until I figure it out.  I vow to not let this happen again!  My plan is to use this blog more as a tutorial, walking step-by-step through the process of what I did, for my sake, and for anyone else who thinks what I have made is just too awesome and they must try it themselves.
